IGBC Green Your School programme is a joint initiative of IGBC and Carrier and in partnership with United Way of Delhi to encourage schools to implement green features in their premises and convert into Green Schools.
Any School, Government, Public, Private, Charitable, Defence, Sainik Schools can participate.
This is an online event, Only top three schools will be travelling to the award ceremony sponsored by us.
The results would be announced by IGBC. The date of announcement would be indicated to all the participants through email.
Yes, only three students can participate. However, other students can extend their support to the team in developing ideas.
School students of 7th, 8th and 9th standard can participate. The students can be either from same standard or can be a mix of different standards.
The registration date is to confirm that school is willing to participate. The date of submission is submission of presentations prepared by schools.
Yes, the travel & accommodation for three students and one teacher would be provided by IGBC.
The change is accepted only when any of the nominated students fall sick and unable to travel or any other emergency reasons.
The jury process is under the copyright of IGBC and the decision by jury is final and confidential. We never reveal scores.
The fund will be transferred to school in the next financial year in the month of May- June after the completion of due diligence process of school.
There is no participation fee for the event. It is absolutely free for all the participants!

Only one team per school can participate for the programme. Multiple teams applying from the same school shall result in disqualification.
All the schools, which have successfully registered and got a notification for approved registration, can submit their ideas.

The details on existing measures can be restricted to two or three slides in the form of photographs at the introduction of the presentation.
The schools should submit a narrative with any proposed drawing of the ideas they would like to implement. No need to experiment the ideas.
The schools may put approx. cost of the proposed idea considering the materials required in implementation of that idea.
Yes, they can be hyperlinked in the presentation. However, in such case the submission should be as a zip folder including all the videos incorporated into the presentation.
We are accepting submission in formats of ppt/pptx/pdf. You can attach the videos and pictures in the PowerPoint presentation itself.
